Grapes variety: 100% Pinot Noir

*Eye: Beautiful and elegant colour.

 *Nose: Powerful and rich nose with aromas of blackberry and blackcurrant. Very delicate with a touch of vanilla.

 *Palate: Attack in mouth is clear and black fruits and touch of spices prevails. Powerful and already matured between tannins, smoothness and a good level of acidity.

 .*Pair  Beef in “Burgundy red sauce”, leg of lamb, powerful cheese, such as Roblochon…

 *Service temperature: 14-16°C.

*Ageing: 10-15 years, start from 5 years to be best to drink

Winery presentation:

The end of 19th century that Mr Honoré GAVIGNET, vinegrower at the famous DRC -
Domaine de la Romanée Conti, creates his own Domaine in Burgundy,Nuits-Saint-Georges.

The love of well down work let 4 generations succeeded one another, from father to son, till Arnaud GAVIGNET, founder's great-grandson.

While generations succession, the Domaine expanding by vines acquisition in Nuits Saint Georges 1er Cru and Morey Saint Denis 1er Cru, Bourgogne Pinot Noir, Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Nuits and Gevrey Chambertin, Côte de Beaune at Monthelie, Santenay, Savigny Lès Beaune and Pommard. Thus, became one of the star of Côte d'Or vineyard.
